The Bloody Chamberby ~Inochi-Zero

Here are my final images for The Bloody Chamber competition, run by the House Of Illustration and working with the Folio Society.

- The Bloody Chamber

- Puss-in-Boots

- The Company of Wolves

Ink, watercolour and Photoshop.

The three illustrations were drawn by hand with an ink pen as line drawings. I then coloured using watercolour, and retouched the images with textures and digital painting in Photoshop CS4.

I think you have made some wonderful illustrations for the stories here. I particularly like the one for the Bloody Chamber as it doesn't give too much away about the story itself but rather through the use of colour and slightly downward angle of the woman's head hints that something sinister is at work. the other two images fit the stories they are illustrating really well.
